Levels of Management

We have implemented two distinct levels of management for our e-mail hosting service, with a third one available only to resellers

Administrator

The administrator is the main person in charge for the domains and users hosted by the customer with PolarisMail. The administrator can add and manage domains, users, aliases and lists. He can also implement domain-wide default Spam and Virus preferences such as Spam delivery location and Spam filter sensitivity

User

The user is the owner of an e-mail account created by the Administrator. He has access to e-mail and several features for managing his account: changing his own password, setting up e-mail forwarding, e-mail extensions, away message, whitelist, blacklist and individual spam preferences.

Any preference set by the User overrides Administrator set preferences.
