PolarisMail offers to its customers a comprehensive procedure for migrating new users to its servers, free of charge

Step 1: Lower the domain SOA refresh value to 1 hour

Step 2: Perform a POP3/IMAP sync between the original server and PolarisMail servers

Step 3: Transfer the MX record to PolarisMail servers

Step 4: Perform a second POP3/IMAP sync for all e-mails that might have arrived while the DNS transfer was taking place

Step 5: Reset the SOA refresh value to the original
